While I do not doubt in the validity and relevance of the course material, it was admittedly very misleading to read that this was a F&B management course that turned more into a Marketing 101 course with some key examples as it relates to the course. When reading the two main objectives in the Course Info section, you would lean towards thinking this would provide more practical, operational lessons for persons in managerial roles. Rather, I finish this course thinking if the challenges I read are actually contemporary or just practical marketing considerations in the market, and I don’t feel I received tools that I can implement in my day-to-day work apart from the theoretical marketing strategies that was taught. This is to take nothing away from the professor and the quality of the course itself, however I just believe the manner in which the course is communicated to the consumer is misleading. There are undoubtedly professionals within our industry that would find these lessons valuable, and the course details should reflect accordingly.

I really enjoyed the course and learnt a lot but i felt that it was sometimes quite repetitive. Also i the wording used in the slides and videos was often unnecessarily complicated and could have been written more clearly. However i did enjoy it and glad i did it!

I only answer the remaining quizzes (week 3 and 4) as other study videos are too long and could not keep up because of other priorities.

Interesting if you have never studied or opened a business/marketing book. Information not really up to date (links, facts, etc.)

It was interesting but not very engaging. Many of the examples (links) didn't work.

The course title is somewhat misleading. The information in the course is completely based in marketing of products. It doesn't even have to apply for Food and Beverages. It should be re-named. For the marketing aspect, it has good information, but was not what I was looking for in terms of Food and Beverage Management

Not very educational.

Theories are very similar to what you learn in marketing.

Real-world insights and finances of Food & Beverage would be a way better teaching.

Its more in genaral nature,should be more about rotine operations of reastaurant and rotine understanting of operations how to make those better..

Not that much useful when i enrolled the course I thought that it help us to manage the premises .
