the scholarly writing becomes easier after taking this course. it is definitely an interesting course.

It might just be me, but the teacher doesn't really seem to take this course seriously, nor do the peer reviewers. Many of my peers do not speak English as a first language and fail to give valuable reviews on anyone's work. And the video lectures so far have been extremely boring and unhelpful.
